About Me: Peyote is the most intelligent, intuitive, and inquisitive cat companion I've ever had. He's a "world traveler" who's adapted to living in developing countries where most North American people wouldn't -- and to living in the center of old downtown Carmel far away from the crowds in NYC!
Nicknames: Yoti
My Motto: "My tail speaks its own language. When it's waving back and for
Likes: Walking to Starbucks at Merchant Square in Carmel (or anywhere along the Monon Trail where he can meet new people), sitting on the computer keyboard while I attempt to write & "hiding" under a fitted bed sheet when I change linens (often for as long as 30
Pet-peeves: Walking on a Leash Outdoors & Being Kept in the House All Day.
Best Tricks: When outside in the fenced patio area, he waits until he thinks I'm not watching and jumps the tall privacy fence, takes a quick walk through the neighborhood, then jumps back inside the fence.
Favorite Activities: Playing with grasshoppers and lightning bugs on the patio (just "cupping" his paw over them, not hurting them in any way); jumping high after his cat dancer toys; chasing his catboy comrades here at home; and sleeping all night in bed on my chest.
Favorite Food: Pringles (Garlic Onion) & Royale Canin #33 (Dry)
Favorite Toy: Dances with Lightning Bugs
Favorite Walk: Peyote grew up in downtown Manhattan and New Jersey, learned to walk down five flights of stairs to the nearest Starbucks a few blocks away where everyone knew him. He jumped onto the outdoor bench there and waited as each person who passed him told him what an adorable boy he was. Now living in Carmel, he likes to trek to Bub's on the Monon where he gets the same royal treatment.
