Hi Everyone, I thought I'd make a post on here about the artwork I've been doing. I'm not looking to advertise myself...well. . .

About Me: My name is Alena. I own Jude the Chinese Crested, Stevie the chihuahua, Maggi my grandfather's 11 year old schnauzer that I inherited when he passed, and 2 of Stevie's chi babies, Ted and Layla. I show dogs in conformation, but I'm also involved in rescue. I think working on the two opposite sides of the dog world gives me a better overall perspective and point of view regarding animal topics.

Nicknames: Don't have any

My Motto: Everything happens for a reason

Likes: open-minded people, liberal issues, my pets, art, gardening, sweet red wine, humane societies/animal shelters, and offering my opinion--whether it's wanted or not :)

Pet-peeves: breed/race discrimination of pets and people, puppy mills and people who don't take owning a dog seriously, traffic, rolling up garden hoses (nothing pisses me off more...probably why our hose is always laying out)

Favorite Activities: Doing dog related stuff, gardening, reading mystery novels, and painting/drawing.

Favorite Food: Anything Ethnic

Favorite Walk: When my boyfriend and I take all the dogs out together.
