About Me: Before I cam into the loving care of Shelby, my previous owner kept me in southern Indiana. I was a great western pleasure horse, winning first place in every class that I entered. I of course am gaited so my gait was wonderful. But then my owner kind of stopped caring, he still fed me but he over fed me and I got sick with Founder, it can be very deadly to horses. With founder I lost some feeling in my front feet so I couldn't canter or lope with anyone on me, and I lost my beautiful gait. I thought that I would never be able to barrel race or do anything more than a simple western pleasure walk trot only class. But a couple months of training and Shelby has got me back on barrels and cantering like a star Thoroughbred. I still don't have my gait, but I can do without that. I'm more of a quarter horse ride anyways.
Nicknames: Jack, Buthead, Jackson
My Motto: If you got a treat, then I love you.
Likes: I love to act bad when Shelby is trying to impress someone. I also love to follow Shelby around. I love her so much.
Pet-peeves: When Shelby holds a treat in front of me when I'm tied up and she won't give it to me. "Jack, you gotta hold still for the camera." she says, I just want my treat momma!!!
Best Tricks: I can double-task....bucking and farting at the same time!!!
Favorite Activities: I love when Shelby rides me with other company in the pasture and trail. I also love it when Shelby gives me baths, of course being the horse that I am, I always go and roll in the dirt afterwards...
I also love being around my "brothers" Go Boy and Buck.
Favorite Food: Sweet feed of course, I also enjoy grass and hay, and also carrots and sugar cubes
Favorite Toy: My favorite toy would probably have to be Vito, a pitbull puppy that lives with us, he is fun to chase around and try to trample.
Favorite Walk: When I follow Shelby around until she gives me a treat. When Shelby and her friends go down the road and into the woods to ride back there, and then when we go to the 'racetrack' in the woods, that is REALLY fun. I also like to ride/walk in the cornfields across the street.
