About Me: '5rt' Missy says hi. Missy's a post-mother of four litters, recently spayed, she gained at least two pounds of flub, but hasn't lost her loving motherly streak. She's a descendant of a pure bred manx kitten I had years before, who had a litter, including Missy's mother, a manx, "Morning Star", which was adopted by my best friend. Missy's grandmother passed and Morning Star gave birth to Missy, who was mixed. I adopted Missy and her brother, who I no longer have due to manly habits (had run off). Missy listens well. Understands 'no', and comes when called, stops her naughty habits when asked, and has never given me a big problem. About two years ago, I had let her out to play for the day, by night, she was nowhere to be found, the next morning I called her, she ran inside and out of sight. I found her under my bed, two puncture wounds around her flank. I thought I'd let it heal naturally, without professional vet assistance. Instead, it developed into a disease, inwhich a large portion of her skin had to be removed by a vet. She recovered, but isn't allowed, nor wants to go, outside.
