Joy - Yorkshire Terrier

About Me: Hello. My full name is Lashire's Joy of Termar. I was born at Lashire Kennels like my sisters, but I wasn't adopted at the same time as them. I used to be a breeding dog for Termar Kennels near Martinsville. Luckily, the owners liked me so much that I was treated more like a housepet than a breeder. I got to spend most of my time in the house and even sleep with them in their bed at night. As my 2nd birthday approached, I started to get a little sick. They took me to the vet, and it turned out that I had the beginning signs of congestive heart failure. My owners were crushed. They didn't want to lose me, but they were so busy that they didn't think they'd have time to properly care for me and my condition. Luckily for me, there was another option. Sera and Allys mommy and daddy brought them to Termar for grooming every couple months and they always made sure to come say hi and play with me when they were there. I knew and liked them a lot. They knew that Ally and I were from the same litter and used to go on about how they would love to have had me too. My owner called them in tears after finding out about my condition and asked them if they were still interested in having me. Ally has the same heart condition so she knew that they would be able to take good care of me. Of course, they said YES, they'd take me. If I thought I'd been babied and pampered before, I had no idea how much more I was going to get. I am so spoiled now, it's not even funny. I still get to see my former owner at grooming time. She still gushes over me and loves on me like just like she used to. Ah, life is good :)
