My Dear Kita-5-31-07

I rattled enough cages that I got far more than I expected, and my appreciation goes to everyone involved, and everyone who has . . .

About Me: We took her from people who didn't care. Beautiful, friendly, healthy little baby, at the time she was about 6 months old. We took her to Emerson Pet Clinic to be spayed last Wednesday, and the vet KILLED her thru his carelessness. They KNEW she was dying when they handed her back to me, and an 80mph run to the emergency clinic on Bash Rd didn't help-she passed in the driveway as we pulled up. I BEG of all of you-do NOT take your pet to the Emerson Clinic at 16th and Emerson. Funny-I got a card of condolence from the emergency clinic-but from the vet that KILLED her? Nada......Sadly, this clinic is listed as taking the certificates from the Spay/Neuter Ass'n-I called them and let them know my baby died from sheer carelessness on the vet's part. I ache so much..... Interestingly enuff, I spoke to a neighbor who took her 22 yr old dog, with liver probs, to this same vet, Dr Walther. He gave her meds to give the dog, and popped one in its mouth while she was there. The dog died within 24 hours. She did some research on the net and found out those pills were NOT for any human or animal that had liver disease.......and yet this "doctor" gave her dog these pills without any regard to the warnings about what diseases would be acerbated by this pill......The more I check with the neighbors, the more horror stories I'm hearing about this vet and this clinic. How do these people get licensed? And HOW do they KEEP their licenses when they kill as many animals as they "save"?
