Spike - Pit Bull mix

About Me: Spike was surrendered to a vet when he was about 2 months old, and she thinks it's because he wasn't 100% Pit Bull, and didn't have a mean bone in his body, and therefore wouldn't be good at fighting. LUCKILY they surrendered him to her, and not a shelter, as many Pits get put down immediately just because of their breed, and aren't even given a chance. Ryan and Miranda, his future mommy and daddy, met him at Pet Fest in May, and Miranda immediately fell in love with his adorable face and sweet demeanor. They had his foster mom bring him to their house to make sure he passed the test with their 3 cats, and he did with flying colors! He has been in his new home now for about a month and a half, and couldn't be happier!!!

Likes: Dog park!!!!! Running with his mommy, chasing kitties, watching the Dog Whisperer, play stalking his daddy, eating (he wags his tail the entire time he eats), cuddling, taking up the entire bed when he sleeps, playing with any and everyone, dog or human

Pet-peeves: Not being able to go to the dog park 24 hours a day, being in his crate during the day while his parents are at work, kitties not wanting to play with him

Favorite Activities: Going to the dog park and playing with the other dogs, especially the big ones! Running in his neighborhood with his mommy trying to keep up with him, chewing on his stuffed duck, or trying to get cats to play with him!
