Chaco - Basenji

About Me: Hi! I'm Chaco, formally known as CH MOORES Chock Full of Spirit CD RN. I'm a show dog. That means I like to be seen and admired by everyone. I'm also an Obedience dog. That doesn't mean I'm obedient. It just means I find all sorts of ways to humble my Mom when we're in the ring. I like Agility, too. I don't run like those crazy Border Collies and Shelties. I like to trot around the course. I also like testing my Mom's patience by trotting around jumps before I jump them. Or sitting down in the middle of the tunnel. Or looking at the A frame and saying "What's that thing?" And I love chasing my tail in the middle of the course! I usually make the judge laugh.

Likes: People!!! And my cousins the Pappy and the Chihuahua and the two cats. And my Big Man. And the new puppy (who's going away soon). And my sister Cleopatra. I LOVE to tease her because she doesn't have a sense of humor! And I really love my human sister Sha

Pet-peeves: Rain. Taking a bath. Barking dogs.

Best Tricks: I'll give high fives and I'll wave. But I don't do many tricks. After all, I'm a Basenji...royalty doesn't do tricks.

Favorite Activities: I like going to Obedience classes and to Agility classes. This past weekend I finally realized what this is all about. I had a good time in the Agility show! I didn't do everything right; but I did better than everybody thought I would! My Mom hugged me and gave me special treats. I love going places with my Mom. And I love visits from my little Pap and Chi friends!

Favorite Food: Anything that fits in my mouth.

Favorite Toy: Cleo, my other Basenji. And any little furry dog who barks or yips when I stare at them.

Favorite Walk: I love walking in the neighborhood because everybody stops and admires me. I also love going to dog shows and shopping there. I always have to stand up on my back feet and check out the table tops. We go to PetSmart where everybody admires me. And I love goint to those stopping places along the highway where we get out and walk and sniff and sniff and sniff. And everybody there admires me. Get the theme here?
