July 4th safety

Posted in Behavior on Jul 03 (1 comment)
Dear Pet Pwners, July 4th is coming up in just a few days as we all know. Personally I hate this holiday. The fireworks are LOU. . .
Owner: Heather
About Me: I'm the oldest of my siblings. My Mom and Dad adopted me when I was only 6 weeks old and I've been with them ever since. Actually I was an anniversary gift from both my parents to each other. They decided it was time to start a family of their own. When the doctors told them they would never have any 2 leggers of their own they agreed that a 4 legger would be just as good. That's when they adopted me.
Nicknames: Snoop, Snooper, Snoop troup
My Motto: If you can't run with the big dogs...stay on the porch.
Likes: sleeping under the covers (preferrably with my own blanket & pillow) i enjoy chasing the cat (until Mom catches me and I get grounded) I love Scooby Snacks, Snausages, Puperoni (the list goes on.)
Pet-peeves: house guests talking to Peytrah & not me, little 2 leggers with sticky - grabby hands (do you know how hard it is to get bubble gum, suckers and other candy out of fur...ask my Mom she can tell you), having to get off the couch so a human can sit down, Mo
Best Tricks: opening unlocked doors.
Favorite Activities: chasing the cat, wrestling with Peytrah, spending time with my Dad, naps with Mom, stealing food off the table or counter top when Mom & Dad aren't looking.
Favorite Food: hot dogs
Favorite Toy: anything that squeaks
Favorite Walk: MY favorite walk was when Mom used to walk with me from our house to my Grandma's house on pretty days. She always made sure the teperature was right so the pavement wouldn't burn my feet. i'm not much into walks anymore now that I'm getting older. I'm more happy just lazing about the house. Every once in a while i'll get a spurt of energy when someone forgets to close the door all the way and I'll dart out the door and give Mom & Dad a run for their money.
