Eli - Pit bull mix

About Me: A co-worker of my dads found me in an alley,trying to get food from a miracle whip jar in someones trash.Knowing the dog lover he is,he called my dad ..who in turn took me to my moms place of business.She took one look at me and started crying,I was skin and bones,had scars all over,where I had been abused.She told my dad to t ake me home,give me a bath and flea meds and lotsa food.He did,they took me to the Vet that weekend,the Vet said I was approx 5-6 months old,and weighed only 13lbs.They got my shots,some addt'l meds and took me home.I was the most loving dog,It took awhile for me to learn I was gonna keep getting fed,but after that,I fit right in with my brother and sister.It only seemed fit to name me "Eli",(my Sister is Payton and brother is named Manning)As mom and dad weren't looking for another pet at the time,Another co-worker of my dad's dog was stolen,so he adpoted me,I am proud to say I was a healthy 38 lbs when I went to my new home.I now live a great life in Layfayette,In..we still send mom and dad pics and stay in touch.The last pic they recieved I actually had fat rolls...lol.All tho I'm no longer in their home,I will always be in their hearts.They will always love me.(Thats me in the middle).Thanks mom and dad..for saving my life,and finding me a loving home.My new parents spoil me rotten.I couldn't be happier.
