Dexter - Domestic Long Hair

About Me: I actually had a family before I came to live with Meg and Ben. Meg and the Grand Lady think that my previous family couldn't put up with all my antics... But I am really not sure. I was taken very good care of though, and was current on all my shots and am a very healthy guy. Meg and Ben adopted me from the Humane Society when I was 3 yrs old. I'm not sure why Meg picked me, but my Aunty Leyne told Meg that I looked "sassy" and would have tons of personality. Meg tells me I am the best cat and everything she hoped for. Did I mention I LOVE my Meg?

Likes: Eating Grass in the backyard, Sniffing the mail when it comes (and sometimes licking the envelopes!), Having my armpits scratched.

Pet-peeves: Closed doors, Not being able to go outside anytime I want to, Having to share Meg with Ben.

Best Tricks: Opening doors (I can actually reach up and turn the knob to get into anything I want!), sitting to get a treat, Doing floppy kitties so I look super cute and get my armpits scratched!

Favorite Activities: Following Meg around the house, getting lots of love and showing Meg and Ben how much I love them by headbutting them. In fact, I love to headbutt anything when I am especially happy. I also love when Meg gets out my toys and plays with me. But, the very very best thing is when I find a rubber band!!! I always am so proud and happy and rush to tell someone all about it and hope they play with me!

Favorite Walk: Anywhere, as long as it means I get to go outside!!! I get so excited when Meg picks up my leash! That means I get to smell everything and eat grass!
