About Me: I was rescued by my Mom at the Humane Society when I was only eight weeks old. I had eight brothers and sisters, and all of them got adopted but me. It was very sad to watch them leave one by one. I was finally adopted, but I guess it didn't work out because I was brought back to the pound three times before my Mom found me. My Mom had just lost her beloved cocker spaniel, Travis, from kidney failure. Because she was heartbroken, she decided to volunteer at the Humane Society to help heal her broken heart. The very first day that she signed on to help, I arrived again, for the third time. I was very upset and scared, and couldn't stop crying. My Mom really stepped up and took care of me, and that very same night I went home with her. We have been together ever since. I have been a challenge for my Mom, because I was scared to be loved, and I felt very insecure. She took me to puppy kindergarten to try to help me learn and adjust, but I hated that place! All of those dogs really freaked me out, and reminded me of my horrid past. I ended up flunking out of puppy kindergarten. Even though that wasn't very successful, I have made a lot of progress since I have been with my Mom. She says I have taught her patience, but she has taught me love and loyalty. I am so glad that we found each other!
