Squirt - Chihuahua

About Me: I was found in a snow drift right before Christmas in 2000. I was taken to PetsMart and put in a cat cage. I put on the saddest face I could muster and it worked! My future mom demanded that they free me from my puppy prison and I went home with her! At first I wasn't sure I wanted to stay with her. I ran away from home 3 times in the first month and once stopped traffic in the middle of a 6 lane highway (I think I could have a career in traffic control!). Then we started obedience classes. I started thinking, hey this isn't so bad and I think I like this person. We tried competing in obedience, but I don't have a very long attention span and it's hard to pay attention in the ring for so long. I started thinking that I didn't like competing and then we went to the Louisville show and I saw something that I HAD to do. Dogs were jumping over things and running through tunnels. I got so excited that I had to cheer the dogs on (this got us into trouble and we had to leave)! But then mom took me to learn how to do agility. It's still hard paying attention in the ring but it's ok because I can't wait to run! I ran in my first trial in February and got a blue ribbon and a Q (I don't know what that is but it makes mom excited. I just liked the little stuffed cow I got). Well that's me....

Favorite Walk: Every walk is my favorite! But I really like to go to woods and just smell!
