Puppy Mills

When is Indy going to step up and do something about puppy mills and the number of dogs one person is allowed to have?!?!? I am. . .

About Me: I was a very tiny puppy when someone left me in a box with a note on the door-step of the vet where my forever mommy worked in Florida. Mommy tells me I had some pretty serious injuries from the dog that gave birth to me and my litter mates. The nice people at Orange County Animal Control (FL) and my new mommy fixed me up and nursed me back to health. Sadly that was not the end of my medical conditions. I went through a long spell with some tummy and skin issues that made me pretty sick. I had another run-in with a big dog while still a puppy that left me with scarring on my front legs. Again my mommy nursed me to health and did physical therapy with me to help me walk better. Now I am doing really great! We moved to Indianapolis, where my Mom and Dad grew up, in June of 2005. I have a nice yard, just the right size for me that is fenced in to keep me safe. I get to play outside alot now. I have a baby brother (cat) named Cooter. Mommy rescued him in FL too when he was just a few days old. His kitty mommy got lost in a hurricane. We have lots of fun together. I feel very blessed because I have such a nice family and parents that take reallllly good care of me. I even have 2 sets of grandparents that love me tons and tons too! Some might say I am a little spoiled, but all I know is that I am very much loved and wanted.

Nicknames: Suggie Baby, Suggie Muffin, Pink Lips (Grandpa's favorite), and Puppy (cause I am so CUTE, just like a forever puppy)

My Motto: All love....No fight here!

Likes: I LOVE Mommy & Daddy. I like food, ummm food is yummy. I also really like it when we go"bye-bye", that is so fun! I love my brother Cooter.

Pet-peeves: I hate having to potty in the rain. Sometimes Cooter gets a little rough while playing and accidentally hooks me with one of his claws. That HURTS!

Best Tricks: Uuhh what was the question again? Oh tricks-I can "sit up pretty" on my hind legs, does that count? And I speak too!

Favorite Activities: You can often find me trying to sleep about 26 hours in a 24 hour day. That is if I am not playing or snuggling with Mom and Dad.

Favorite Food: anything peanut butter, gourmet cookies from the dog bakery, and whatever you are eating

Favorite Toy: "skeeky" babies a.k.a.-anything with a squeaker in it, bowling ball, and my baby brother (the cat)

Favorite Walk: To the car to go "bye-bye".
