About Me: I am writing this for my dear Bear. He was one of the greatest dogs I had ever owned. We got him the day of an FSU/FL football game. When he was a puppy he wasn't necessarily the smartest dog in the world. But he was hilarious to watch. As he got older he didnt seem like he was getting smarter. But thats what made me love him so much. He never wanted to disappoint you. He was diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 7. We tried desperately to help him and do everything possible for him. He lost about 20-25 pounds during this so he got down to about 35 pounds. It was so hard to see and my family couldnt take seeing him in pain. He ran out of breath just eating. We had to hand feed him. and he could barely walk or even stand to go to the bathroom. It was heartbreaking. We couldnt take it anymore, we put him down on April 25th, 2008. We were mortified to see him go, but we knew he was out of his pain. He's a dog that anyone who ever met him will never forget. He loved anyone and everything.
