Tsuki - DSH

About Me: Mama got me when I was four months old from the Indianapolis Animal Care and Control shelter, and sadly, I was in terrible condition. I had a scar across my nose that never went away, a healed broken tail, a terrible URI which left my third eyelids closed, and was very, very thin. Mama thinks I was probably abused, due to my tail and my fears - you see, I tend to panick at absolutely everything, especially men. I also have what seem to be some OCDs. I want to be clean, but I end up overgrooming myself, leaving my tummy fur sparse, and my thighs bald. I've licked holes in blankets, and on occasion licked my brothers so much that they had bare spots. I also have an issue with the ceiling.... I can't help it, I stare at it, sometimes purring too loudly and meowing, other times just staring intently at what seems to be nothing. When something scary comes around, I "hide" in my basket and purr and bathe. My baby brother didn't have a kitty mommy, so I wanted to help by taking on her role, nursing the baby with my paw, ensuring the baby got cat food, cleaning the baby.... I have some issues, but am still the absolute sweetest kitty ever. My mama loves me so much!!

Likes: Being a mommy to my baby brother Pip, cleaning myself and everyone/thing else, sitting in my basket, sitting on a window sill, purring, having my neck scratched, monitoring the pantry

Best Tricks: I can kind of "shake" my paw like a dog, but only when I want

Favorite Activities: Watching the ceiling, sun bathing, watching the world from the window, trying to "feed my baby," playing with mice, sleeping.

Favorite Food: The entire 4th of a can of wet food I get twice daily - come on, Mama, can't you see I'm growing!!!! I like dry food too though - If the bowls aren't constantly full I get really scared that I will starve

Favorite Toy: Tail-less kitty mice. Yep, you guessed it - I ate off the tails, and now Mama won't buy me any more of that kind 'cause she thinks synthetic tails aren't healthy. But the mouse bodies are still fun to play with!
