Need help finding a place to board

Spike on Behavior - Mon, November 26 2007

We are thinking of going to Wisconsin to visit Ryan's family during Christmas, and need to find a place to board the dogs. We've never done this before, and really would be open to recommendations, in all price ranges.

Any recommendations w/ overnight stays would be extremely helpful, thanks so much!

I highly reccomend Best Friends in Castleton. I take Reno there for boarding and daycare. They can board the dogs together and they can also go to daycare during the days so they are tired out and ready for bed at the end of the day. We love it there and so does Reno.

I go to Barkalounge Doggy Daycare! You get to play with dog friends during the day and you would have your own room at night! www.barkaloungedaycare.com 788-8551

Come play with me at Barkalounge! I looooove playing and you get all these goodies! And staying during Christmas you will get extra cookies and treats. All the other dog parents bring in lots of cookies from their dogs to share with their friends!

Sleepy Hollow Pet Ranch is very affordable and they are Bully friendly! Several of my friends and fellow bully owners wouldn't trust their dogs to anyone else since they are so good with the bullies. Check them out!

I don't board my dogs anymore, but when I did I went to Beverly's Precious Pets. They advertise on this site.

I like pet sitters, because then I can sleep in my own bed...

We've boarded at Beverly's Precious Pet Inn and we liked it.

I like Beverlys also. But I have not boarded Wiggles there yet. They are all really nice in there though.

Mommy worked at Sleepy Hollow for a while. So from experience she would NEVER take us there for anything!

Are you looking for traditional kennel or daycare boarding? I go to Barkalounge Doggy Daycare but Arbor Lane is an excellent traditional kennel.

you didn't mention what area you live. there's a few i recommend to my clients. one is arbor lane, the other is out towards greenfield, it is called parkewood kennels. i've heard excellent reviews about both! don't wait too long to schedule to board, though. many places might already booked through christmas!

I would not take my pet to Sleepy Hollow as long as Hope "Anna" Rippey worked there. She helped to murder a 12 year old child named Shanda Sharer. She should still be in prison except for some fancy legal manoeuvrings. search her name on the internet, she helped to burn this little girl alive.

Our daycare, TL Pets Doggy Day care does boarding/daycare. It's downtown on capitol. As of Monday they still had space available.

Depending on where you live PetAgree Fun Lodge Resort in Danville and Brownsburg is great! Lots and Lots of playtime, Peyton comes back home pooped!

I would recommend Club Canine or Camp Bow Wow in Carmel if it's anywhere near you . I have used both and they are wonderful.
