Maybe you're what they call a Tweenie? Not quite a Mini, Not quite a Standard Doxie? My cousin Daisy is a Tweenie...and she eats 1/3 cup of food twice a day and goes on 3 walks daily. She's just big boned. When my family got her they were told she was a Mini Doxie...but obviously she's not. As long as Baby is healthy at her weight, then she should be fine.
i looked at baby's pics, and she really doesn't look *fat* to me? i mean, i've seen doxies that their belly drug the ground!!! now THAT is FAT!!! just be sure she gets exercise (take her for walks a few times a week if you can) and maybe cut her food amount back a little, and substitute that with green beans.(salt free) the green beans are ZERO calories, but they are a good filler! she will feel full, and won't even know you are cutting her back! good luck! ;o)
We got Baby from a breeder, (for my g-ma) and her parents were little. So this makes no sense. Most of Baby's pics are around 2 years old, or her stomach isn't showing that much. She waddles, and doesn't have a waist. Here is something I found:

I don't completly get it. (ha, it's pretty hard NOT to get it. But, hey, that's my stupidity right there!)
; )
Baby, I think you look terrific! I am a tweenie and I weighted 12 pounds when I came to my home, but four months later, I weigh 13 lbs...go figure! Could it be that I have my new family wrapped around my little paw? I know so! However, I did see Mama slip Nutro Reduced Calorie into my food, 50:50 with my regular Nutro about a week ago. I still get to eat twice a day, but I have dropped a few ounces already. And we do take our walks every day.
