Hi guys. Monica here. Well the Wasset is off to her new hopefully furever home. They are such nice people. They had bought books about sharing your life with a dog(great move since this is their first "real" dog that they've got total responsibility for). They had some treats and toys to make her feel at home. We took her bag of goodies with her along with two new bones. She will be using her old crate until they can get one for her. She took many things that should remind her of us and make her feel more comfortable. Their place overlooks a pond and there's a door that leads right out to it. I know she'll love watching the geese and ducks. They live right across the street from Eagle Creek Park and go there frequently(something else she will love doing). I was pretty proud of myself. Not a tear shed which is very unusual for me. I think it's because we've always known that our house was just temporary for her. It can't be fostering if they don't ever leave. She acted fairly comfortable while we were there but did want to leave with us. I haven't gotten any panicky phone calls yet so I guess everything is ok with all of them. They are really a nice couple and I hope it works out for everyone's sake. That said, Chase is getting a mental health break for about a week or so then I think the new fosters will be here. Right now, I believe it will be a pair of older special needs Pomeranians. Sooooooo, if you know anybody looking for a sweet pair of 6-7 year old Poms, have them check out www.wagsstrays.org for their info. They will need to be adopted together since one has only one eye but their adoption fees will be cut since there are two of them. Thanks everybody for all the support. I'll give updates as I get them and I've asked them to add her on here once they all get settled. Monica
