Stupid People

Dozer on Laws - Wed, November 21 2007

Leash laws are out there for a reason, they not only protect the dog on the leash but protect everyone else. My mom was walking me Tuesday night when we went by this ladies (?) house, she had her three dogs outside with no leash or a fence. The big dog, a pitbull mix, attacked me. I do not blame the dog, I blame the owner for not following the leash law. Luckily I have so much fur that I am okay but my mom sure what shaken up and scared. What if I would have been a small dog, what if I would have been a human kid, what if the dog would have been hit by a car when it ran across the street after me. People think.....laws are in place for a reason.

my mommy leaves my leash right by the door so i make sure it goes on me all the time. maybe that lady needs to do the same.

I agree, if it would have been you it is scary to think what would have happened, you are a little puppy, at least I am 120 pounds of fur.

Hey Dozer, we are so sorry to hear about your attack. Where were you at when this happened? In the neighborhood? Also, sorry about Godzilla always barking so much when you walk by. He thinks that as far a he can see it's his property. He gets so protective. We are always scolding him when he barks at people who just walk by.

I always bark when people walk by also. It bugs my mom but I don't care, it lets people know that this is my house.

My neighbor is a collie and she has an invisible fence in the front and back yard. We were going for a walk on the sidewalk and this dog didn't have her collar on!! She amlost jumped on top of Lola on purpose. This dog really could have hurt her! Since she didn't have her collar on she kept coming after us and her owners couldn't grab her. We're so thankful mom was able to grab Lola and keep her safe. Some people are so stupid. I'm so sorry those dogs attacked you. I'm glad you're ok. I'd talk to those neighbors about this if I were you.
