What the heck is a harness & leash?

Mom says that I have made great strides in my behavior and she brought home a harness and leash for me today. She says once I learn to behave on a harness leash that she can take me to PetSmart and Petco, I can go outside and I can visit Grandma and Grandpa at their house. Well now I'm wearing this "harness," I was not very happy with it at first. Biting at it and trying to pull on it didn't work though. It's not so bad now, Mom says she'll take it off before we go to bed and then I can practice again tomorrow. I think I had more fun being Zoeysaurus Rex...

Zoey, you'll get used to it. I found that I didn't like mine in the house (there wasn't anything new to sniff so I noticed it more) but when I had it on to go outside and just wander the yard, I forgot about it because I got busy sniffin. Maybe put it on for little wandering trips outside?

Those things are awesome! You get them on, go outside and smell up the world! Life will be great for you. I envy you...you have the chance to experience the world for the first time.
