I go to Arbor Lane Kennels. They are really good, and don't charge much. I've seen where they groom their dogs, they don't use drugs. The only bad thing about it, if they groom your dog (shampoo, nails trimmed, hair cut) it takes a about 10 hours (they get quite a lot of business, that's why), and they don't give your dogs food or water. : ( They do give them food and water if your boarding, though.

We're groomed at a place in Broad Ripple, that may be further than you want to drive though. It's all dogs, Zoey and I are usually the only cats. I enjoy bopping the dogs on the head who try to sniff me. Message mom if you want the info.

OMG! why would anyone shave a cav???? that is awful. that breed isn't supposed to be shaved! poor remus. maybe his behavior after he got home was more from being freaked out by being all nekkid, instead of drugs? i know it can be very traumatic to a dog if all their fur is shaved, many will hide and not come out for a few days! unless he was matted, there is no excuse for shaving him, plus, you should have at least been called BEFORE they did that, to see if it was ok with you. :(
