when mom first got me I had ear mites and after some medicine, they went away. Mom cleans my ears once a week and the groomer cleans them once a month to make sure I don't have any problems.

My mom uses EpiOtic on my ears. You can get it at the vet without a script. I don't enjoy it and whine and then shake it all over the place.

I have NOT had this problem yet, knock on wood, But Mom constantly worries that I will. We have such cute, floppy ears but they can really hurt when there is something in them I bet :( I hope you feel better soon. That is the good thing about my bro, Nicholas. He has 'stand-up' ears, almost like cat ears. That means that air can get to the canal easier and when and if gunk does get in there, it can dry up and fall out. Kinda gross, but too bad us beagles have to go through this.
