Gosh I don't know...you sure are cute either way! Ask your veternarian what the average weight for your breed should be and if it happens to be that you are overweight, maybe Mom will have to reduce your food intake a little bit. That is great that you go on walks though, that ALWAYS helps!

Probably shouldn't leave food out all day and then refill it when it's out. I'm guessing you only need to eat about 1/2-3/4 cup a day! You can split that between meals if you get too hungry. Walks will only help if you aren't overeating.

You look like a handsome dapple to me, but you Vet could tell you about ideal weight.My mama never feeds me anything but my Nutro, but we don't pay any attention to that silly amount on the side of the bag. That wouldn't feed a mouse! I get a 1 cup and a quarter divided into two feedings, one in the morning and one about 5pm. I also get one small doggy biscuit every evening - (yum!) bedtime snack.
I do have my people very, very well trained and I take four short walks every day. It gives the neighbors a chance to admire me and helps keep me trim.
