There are many things that can cause you to be itchy Heaven! Mom will sometimes give me a bath with some oatmeal shampoo she gets at the petstore (but too many baths will cause dry skin too). A groomer might be able to help you pick something out for your breed. She also said there are different foods out there too that can help. Eukanuba makes one for Sensitive Skin that helps reduce itching, scratching and shedding. There are also a number of itch wipes and sprays you can get too. If none of this helps, you might want to go to the vet and find out if its something like allergies or a skin condition/infection. Try not to scratch too much, it will itch more! Good luck Heaven!
Zoe & Lewis' mom here...
I am no expert, however I think that it may be wise to take Heaven to the vet to figure out the cause of her itchiness. Friends of ours have a golden retriever, who is prone to allergies all year long. Just recently, they thought that she was having an allergy flare-up, but when symptoms kept getting worse and worse, they took her to the vet. It ended up being a serious Staph Infection that was spreading all over her body. So...you just never know. It might be in Heaven's best interest to investigate...especially if her symptoms are appearing now, and you haven't noticed itchiness previously. Good luck!
