Oh gosh! We'll be thinking of Heidi!

I am sad to report that we had to put Heidi down this morning. She did not eat and she did not look any better that what she was last night as we took her to the Hospital.

Heidi was over 10 years old as we adopted her in 2003. The Vet who treated her guessed that she was over 15 years old. We had just a few good years with her and where able to give her a good few years…..

Oh, so sorry to hear about your loss! We lost our Buster this year, after only having him just over a year, so I feel your pain, yet the knowledge that you really made Heidi's life great has to help you to feel better. You KNOW she had a better life with you than she would've had.
And, perhaps she knew it was her time to go, and that's why she took off and "hid in the woods"...isn't that what they say animals do?

Poor sweet kitty. You gave her a wonderful life and the final blessing of relief from the vagaries of old age. I know you will miss her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh Stella, I'm so sorry. I'm glad you were able to give her very happy years before she went to the rainbow bridge.

I'm glad you found her and were together for the end. Heidi is all better now.

Cats leave pawprints on our hearts. Mine is full of them, not only from my own cats but from everyone elses too. I feel your loss, and I am so sorry.
