Dog shot hunter

Jasmine on Behavior - Fri, November 02 2007

ESPN reported a hunter was shot by his dog when the dog stepped on the gun. The hunter had surgery and was listed in good condition. The dog was not hurt, and no citations were issued. This happened in Des Moines, Iowa. I bet some of you are thinking what I'm thinking on who maybe should've been shot by a dog.

I am suppose to be a hunting dog, but it is not in me at all. Don't get me wrong, I will chase something like no other, but if I actually get, (which I never do it seems!) I just try to play with it. Mom doesn't like hunting as she thinks it is mean to both the dog and the prey. Maybe this guy will think twice before going hunting next time! But glad to know he is recovering well.

These are my dream come true stories. I like the ones where hunters accidentally shoot each other, too.

hehe. Good doggie. I'm supposed to be a hunting dog too. Mom says the old expression "That dog won't hunt" applies to me. I'm scared of everything and would be running in the opposite direction of any prey.
