This is definitely a great place to get lots of information about how to rescue a dog! This site is full of huge animal welfare advocates who are always glad to hear of other pet lovers looking to adopt a homeless pet! Ojo made a good suggestion with Dayzee... I can't tell you how many great things I've read about her on this site. I also know there are two foster dogs, Bonnie and Betsy, who are in need of forever homes too. Otherwise, Petfinder is the place to go! You can search for any breed, age, sex, or size of pet you want that way. Best of luck!
