You should be able to get one from animal control to use. I got one from Indy Feral when Dayzee got loose. If he's still hanging around the area, that would probably be your best bet. Then put the smelliest food you can get in there. I've been told it's the Hardees bacon cheeseburger but I used Mcdonalds. Actually when I caught her, it was just with her regular kibble. Is there anyway you can leave the door open and hope it will come in? At least then it would be somewhat contained in the house. Please check Petfinder, Pet Harbor, HSI, Pets 911 etc for lost dog postings. You could also try putting food out for it daily if it's hanging around and try to gain its trust. Good luck. It is still here tonight running around. I am going to call IACC to get a live trap. Hopefully I can catch it. I can't get close enough to get a good look at it or take a picture. Wish us both luck!!!! My heart is breaking for this poor little doggie right now!!
