Another unexpected death tonight

Hi Guys..our neighbors, Chuck and Shirley, are like family to Deuce and me. I call them Deuce's fairy godparents because they take care of him a lot for me. They'll come over and take him for walks and back to hang out with them when I'm at work. Deuce loves them so much and also loves their cat, Snowflake. Shirley always calls Deuce her little monkey. Tonight, Shirley died very unexpectedly of a massive heart attack. I'll tell you what--we could sure use your prayers. This is the second significant death in our lives in just one week, and I'm a little shaken. For those of you who read the post about my friend Barb, this'll make sense to you. I think Shirley's now helping Barb pass out treats at the rainbow bridge. But I'm still completely shocked. Please pray for us, will you? Thanks to my IndyPaws friends. This serves to remind me how precious life is and I can't take any of it for granted.

Sometimes life seems almost too hard to bear. Please take care of yourself during this awful time. It is a powerful reminder to all of us to cherish what we have right now. You are in our prayers.

You're in our thoughts and prayers. I'll tell my momma about this. Deuce, make sure you take special care of your mom these next couple of weeks. It's so great that she has such a good dog like you during these rough times.
