How do you wake up your mom or dad?

I get up on the pillow and lay my head on Mom's head and then start licking her face. She's not really too keen on it at first because she always says "Go Back to the nighty-night!" but I get her up! Persistence pays. :-)

I only wake Momma up on the weekends or other days that she is off. I like to lick her hands if they are on top of the covers or I stand on her and lick her face. During the week that stupid alarm gets her up. I just wait for her to get up so I can lay in her warm spot on the bed and go back to sleep!!

So Deuce, you kinda do what your mom did to you to train you...REPITITION AND PERSISTENCE!!!!! Now you're training her :)

Bella, you're right!!! I never thought about it that way. I'll have to tell my mom this. :-)

I stare at her from the floor till she feels my icy glare of needing to pee. Last night, I snuggled up and put my paws around her neck. She woke up and we were nose to nose. Wooo, she said I had stinky breath.

That cartoon would be me.

HAHA that was great. Vegas my cat does that every morning! Reno just comes up and licks your face until you get up. I actually laighed out loud at work!

I make a strange bark, that I only make when I am ready to get up and get out of my crate to start the day. It's a little yip that gets more persistent if nobody lets me out. I never make that sound any other time. Before we started going in our crates at night and got to be on the bed, I would lick mom's face and ears, and Sydney would put her ginormous paws on mom and dad. Come to think of it, that may be why we got booted out of the bedroom.

I give my sweet mommy a quick little lick on her lips! Just a tiny one, not all gross & slobbery. It's cute! And mommy loves it. So then if she doesn't get up, I put my nose underneath her to prop her up...that usually does the trick!

And just why would you want to get out from under those warm blankets? I like to sleep in!

FOOOD!!

I like to wake my mom up with a big kiss on the mouth right after I went outside and ate some poop!

Our dad and Max are usually up before me. The Princess likes to sleep in; and when she is ready to get up, she loves to stick her tiny, cold nose into mom's right ear each and every morning. It works quite well. Mom's eyes immediately fly open, she screams "What the #$&!" turns over and then says "Emma, get off my stomach!" The Princess tells you, tiny, cold noses stuck into your mom or dad's nice, warm ears does wonders! You should try it sometime.

Teehee! That made Mom's night. Anyway, since we all are in out cage when Mom and Dad are asleep, we rattle the water bottle as loud as we can. That usually gets their attention!
