I want a sibling

Basil on Shopping - Thu, October 25 2007

Mom is trying to figure out a way to talk dad into adopting a sibling for me. She thinks I might like to have a little brother or sister in the house to play with. She has been doing research as to how to introduce us and searching Petfinder for possibilities. Any suggestions as to how to talk dad into another pet?

How it all happened; Dad said "No more pets!" and Mom wanted a kitten for Alex. Mom found a picture of an ocicat and emailed it to Dad and he instantly fell in love and said "Okay, THAT cat would be cool".
I was adopted from CatsHaven; they have lots of other kitties, too :) Talk to Barbara and she'll even help you acclimate them....I just had to live in the laundry room for a couple days until everybody felt comfortable. Then, Grace hissed at me for a couple weeks, but she's fine now.

When mom got me, dad said they didn't need anymore dogs. Mom told him it shouldn't matter to him because she took care of us. He doesn't have to do anything! Dad's a pretty logical guy and easy to reason with, so he took mom to HSI to fill out the app. He knows that once mom has her heart set on something, he may as well let her have it because she is not easily deterred. GOOD LUCK!! There are so many cats that need homes. It would be great if you could take another one in.

You would like a little brother or sister. It will only take a short time for the 2 of you to work things out! Good luck in your search. Shouldn't take too long since there are so many kitties who need homes.
