EEEKK! An intruder!

Holly on Behavior - Thu, October 25 2007

Oh the agony! Mama brought home a foster puppy last night! That means he'll get all the attention (*sob*)
Mama says he's thin and not very socialized. She also thinks he's been mistreated. He's a Great Pyrenees, about 3 months old. All we know is he smells BAD. Mama is going to have him bathed today.
We're disgusted, but Mama says since we don't have jobs and don't pay taxes, then we don't get a vote on who comes to stay for awhile.
It's a dictatorship, I'm tellin' ya!

Its ok...you are helping save another dog's life. Look at it from that point. Hey my Mom has a friend that already has one Great Pyrenees and is looking to get another one. Can you send Mom some info and she will pass it along? Then maybe you can have your house back a little sooner!!

Poor Holly, I feel your pain. Thankfully my intruders are just kittens though. I don't know what i would do if mom tried to bring another dog home. But like Reno said, you and your mom are doing a great thing and helping to save this puppy's life. Think of this as a way to pass on all your doggie knowledge, you can teach him the "ropes" and make him more adoptable. This way, he leaves faster....

Okay, he's not as bad as I originally thought... In fact, "Cooper" likes for me to chase him around the yard, and I love that! We're kinda "buds" right now. Mama says we are all doing a great job of helping him learn potty training.
Look under "my pictures" for a few photos of Cooper!

WOW!!! Mom just fell instantly in love with Cooper. Mom really misses my great pyr brother, Yukon, who crossed the rainbow bridge.

Anyway...glad you guys are getting along now.

If anyone wants more information on Cooper and other lovable adoptable Great Pyrs, visit

This is the Indy Great Pyr Rescue group.
Cooper is almost potty trained, loves kids and other dogs, and is very smart and willing to please.
He and Holly ran laps in the back yard last night... really enjoying this nice weather! So don't let Holly's whining fool you... she really likes her new "temporary" playmate.

Cooper had a great weekend... we played outside all day Saturday and Sunday, and even napped in the sun together. He likes for me to chase him, unlike Serena and Lucy who never like to run!
Cooper is doing great with the "PEE-PEE" thing too... hasn't had an accident since last Thursday. And he's gained weight! He eats 4 cups of food a day!!
I like him more and more!
