update on stuart...

Speedy and (RIP) Stuart on Health - Wed, October 24 2007

well, not much news to report. doc's equipment was messing up (some of the diagnostic equip, i believe) so they had to send off some of the bloodwork, and we will know what is going on tomorrow. his white blood cell count was elevated, so there is SOME kind of infection, we just do not know yet what. dr. canada wanted to keep him overnight, so he's there right now. {sniff-sniff}i hate it that he had to spend the night, but i'm guessing they had him on IV's or something, to keep him hydrated, and they said they did start antibiotics. my poor kitty, he probably thinks we abandoned him!!! if you all don't mind, could you please say another little prayer for stewie tonight? i'm supposed to call around 9am tomorrow, and hopefully he can come home tomorrow. i don't even care about the $$, i just want my little stewie better!! poor speedy is missing him something awful!! :(

You poor thing. I hate leaving my babies at the vet too. We'll be praying for Stewie.

Leaving a baby for observation kills me. I hope Stewie comes home today.
