prayers for stuart, please?

Speedy and (RIP) Stuart on Health - Tue, October 23 2007

stewie is not acting right. i took him to the vet this afternoon, after he was acting all weird. vet looked him over, says he SEEMS fine,(temp, heard, lungs, gum color, etc) but take him home, and keep an eye on him. he's still not acting normal. i can't put my finger on it, either, but you just know your pets, ya know? he seems kinda clumsy acting, he's hiding, he is licking and itching like nonstop. he doesn't have any fleas, i don't know what is going on with him. i don't think he has eaten, either. in the morning, i'm going to drop him at the vet, since he's still being weird, and i'm going to have them run a full panel of bloodwork on him. something just is not right. i guess if that all comes back ok, then i'm reading too much into it....but he's just acting....odd. anyhow, if you all could say a little prayer for stewie tonight, that he is ok, i'd really appreciate it! sometimes, he has "emotional" problems, LOL, so i'm really hoping that is all, but i'm gonna have everything double checked, because i'm worried.

OH i know what it feels like to have a sick furbaby! My boy is feeling better, but man he made me nervous (and poorer) last week! I hope Stewie feels like himself soon!!

We'll keep Stewie in our prayers. I know what you mean about knowing your pets. Sometimes you can just tell something is not right.

So what's the latest on Stuart? Any more weirdities?
Has he ever been checked for diabetes? Phantom itching is a symptom of neuropathy, which is often a side-effect of diabetes, (acc'ding to internet research :))

i'm waiting for the vet to call me back, still. (it's 8:30am) he seems a little more normal acting today, BUT, still kinda weird. i am going to have him checked for diabetes, for sure. i might be wrong, but he seems to have lost a little weight. i've not seen him excessively drinking or urinating, though, but i'm going to have them check everything. keep your paws crossed, everyone! i'll update later today and let you all know. thanks for the prayers!!
