Peeing when you meet people is a sign of submissive behavior. Dogs in the wild (*sniff* barbarians, really) will do this when meeting a higher-ranking member of the pack. A place that does dog training might be able to help you. And as for raising a dog as a kitten, that is just so wrong. Try raising him as a beagle, and watch his behavior become impeccable. Because beagles rule. Really. We do.
Do you have water down for Kodie 24 hours a day? Try limiting his water intake to when you feed him(food down for 45 minutes and water down for about 15 minutes longer). After you exercise him re-hydrate him as you would yourself. If a dog has water available to it they will drink and drink and drink..you end up with a water balloon dog...and they will pee and pee and pee...you have a problem called excitement urination
He's just submissive. I did that too, at first. Have your mom or dad tell their guests to come down to your level when they greet you because standing over you is "scary" and a very dominant position. Sometimes, I just pee when I get excited, too. Mom makes me sit and wait until I calm down before I can get greeted.
