I've been on squirrel/bird duty since no one else seems to care, all day. Dad cut the grass, mom did some cleaning and did laundry. Kirby slept.

Shhh...don't tell Kirby and Hoovie but I'm going to our church's camfire tonight!!! I get to go to meet everyone! Mom said that I get a tiny piece of hot dog, too. I'm gonna wear my new sweater, of course,and mom's taking a blanket for me, too. I can't wait!

Hi Freckles. Yea, we are having a laid back weekend too. Kerry had to work last night and tonight so we are just hanging out. Skippy is asleep. No news there. I got my Advantage in the mail today and they sent me a big bone with it. Thats been the highlight so far. It's kinda nice this way though. Mom is home with us all weekend and we get lots of cuddles and kisses, so no complaints from me. Bye Freckles. Love ya

Mom tricked us today. She took us to the park and wore us out then stopped at PetSmart on the way home to get our nails cut. I had a good laugh when we left though. When she was strapping me in the car (I get the front seat, Loki has to sit in the back)her sunglasses fell out and she didn't know it until she drove over them. That'll teach her to trick us like that.

My mama had to work this evening and just got home. I like this part of the night though....I get to sit on her lap and do computer stuff. I tell her what to write and she types it....my little paws get too tired too fast! But now it's time for my beauty sleep.

I stayed home all day with dad, Maddie, and the cats while mom was out visiting our IP friends. I thought it might be my turn to do something fun with mom all by myself since Maddie got to go to an earthdog trial last weekend, but no. We did our usual nothing. Mom says Sunday is going to be dog day, so I will keep my paws crossed for walks and ice cream! Sounds like you guys had a nice, laid back time at Chez Freckles.
