Oh yeah, because an old dog is much better off getting moved to a new home when she's known nothing different her entire life...that won't be stressful or lonely....

I would call these people self centered. Not really caring about the beagle at all! They are just not wanting to care for it themselves anymore. As Cyrus would say "Stick with stuffed animals" cause they don't deserve living ones!

Mom just emailed a lady from a Petfinder ad last night. They have two Dachshunds that are 12 and 14!!!! and want to re-home them. Their child has allergies. Mom sent an email to them explaining how difficult it would be for eth dogs and the child and gave them hints to decrease the child's allergic reactions. She hasn't heard back from the lady and probably won't but it made her feel better to speak her mind.

I just ready this and started crying. It reminded me of Millie, the hospice Beagle I adopted. I guess I shouldn't be shocked anymore. I wish we weren't at capacity, my weakness seems to be geriatric furbabies. AHHHHHH I just hope they don't dump her at a shelter or worse....
