That is strange! I love my momma more than my daddy though. Your boyfriend may have "secretly" spoiled your dog with some table scrap treats and other things that he may miss from him.

Bella is the same way when she sees my boyfriend! I think it's because she didn't see him very often, and he always ran around with her and wrestled. But after she's seen him for a while (all day or weekend) the effect wears off, and of course it's me she runs to if she gets scared! :)

My litter mate, Lily, lives close by & her Mom & my Mom are good friends. When my Mom goes over there Lily gets so excited. When Mom leaves Lily cries for half an hour. Mom thinks it's 2 things; she respects my Mom as a leader because she makes Lily be a good dog & the other reason is she just doesn't see her as often as she sees her own Mom.

Just because Petey loves your BF so much doesn't mean he loves you any less. I bet if Petey lived with your BF, he would act the same way with you. Just be glad they love each other!
