I eat pretty well

Zoe on My Blog - Tue, October 16 2007

Since March's pet food scare, my mom constantly worries about what to feed me.

So she started to cook homemade meals looking for recipes on the internet and creates a protein-rice-veggie dish several times a week.

It's pretty good but my vet says I need to go back on dog food which I dislike.

Does your mom cook for you too?

What a lucky dog you are! My mom doesn't even cook for herself. She is lacking in domestic skills. She did bake biscuits for us once, but that's it.

Why would your vet say you need to go back to dog food?? Are you not getting what you need from the stuff mom cooks for you?? If your mom is worried about tainted dog food, I would have her look into feeding you Eagle Pack brand of food and maybe Merrick and Canidae? I know Eagle Pack is made is northern Indiana and is a very good holistic brand of food. That being said, I think you have a wonderful mom that loves you enough to cook for you, my mom doesn't do that.....

Zoe: Dad use to cook for me when I first came to live with them and had alot of stomach trouble. The vet had dad fix chicken and rice, boy it was good, but once that I got to feeling better the vet said it was best to go back on dry dog food.
