Best place to buy dog costumes

Stevie on Shopping - Fri, October 12 2007

Hey everyone,

I heard we are having a contest on Indy Paws for a dog costume. Anyone have suggestions as to what the best place they've seen is for toy dog costumes?

I was thinking about dressing up one of Stevie's babies for the contest. How cute would that be to see one in a little bumble bee or ladybug outfit?

I saw a chicken suit for dogs at Target, they'd make cute little "chicks". Perhaps something similar if you went with a theme? Do they move around a lot? If not and they have a bowl-like bed... maybe they could be pieces of candy! Just some thoughts. My critters won't let me dress them up without a big fight.

I'm not a big sewer, but it can't be hard to make something simple and then add black dots for a lady bug. Do you sew?

I suggest dog.com. Theya re not that expensive and super cute! They have some for all different sizes too. I think they may have some kitty costumes as well. Good luck!

PetEdge.com has alot of costumes, some are only 3.99 but I think you have to order a minimum of 10.00 or something like that.

This is a funny website that might give you some hilarious ideas for Halloween costumes. I plan to be a pirate myself.
Take a peek at this site for some cute costumes.

I second Oakley's comment about Pet Edge! Earlier today mom read this post and decided to take a look at their website. She ended up spending about $40, oops! There were just too many deals to pass up! :)

Mom says she'll have to check out Pet Edge. Patches...that's funny--Candy LOL! Right now they look like little teddy bears.

I don't know if sewing is an option--mom is what dad calls "domestically retarded (except for her anal cleaning of the house)."

They would look like a swarm of lady bugs or bees....LOL!

No, wait! I think the contest is originality...so you 'd better put your thinking caps on and come up with something from around the house....babies in a teacup or something?
