"No one will ever change my mind otherwise." -- what do you mean by this? I hope you're not referring to the fact you haven't learned that it's not safe to let cats out... Because if you still think it's OK to let cats roam after this, please don't get anymore! Stick with stuffed animals.

Anyone who is letting their cats outside or thinking that it is cruel not to should read this post. This cat would not be dead if it had stayed inside. I am very sorry for your loss, but I hope you will now keep any remaining cats inside for their sake and your peace of mind.

We're all glad that you've found your big cat, but keep him inside now, ok? It's a dangerous world for kitties. No matter HOW much they seem to want out, don't give in. Give your cats indoor play things like toys, scratching posts or cat gyms/trees. Give them a spot by a window to watch the critters. This keeps wildlife safe, too! Play with them! You'll become their best friend and there will be no need to worry about where they are.
