Panda on Behavior - Thu, October 11 2007

My two little dogs (Newton and Panda) know to go outside to use the potty...if I catch them going inside they immediately run to the door...but I think they are trying to out mark each other in the house...any suggestions on how to get them to stop marking? They are both boys....I'm very close to buying them diapers..

Are they neutered? If not, perhaps that would help...

I know that white vinegar take's the smell out and that can help. If they can't smell the pee they may not go back to the same spot. I have done this befor for cat's and dog's.

Neuter them if they aren't or you could try Belly bands when they are in the house. Lots of breeders use those when they have in tact boys and girls in their house.
