How did that happen????

J-Lo on My Blog - Tue, October 09 2007

Mom came home a couple nights ago and said she saw a Chihuahua/Pit Bull mix at the pet store! She said it was adorable and it looked like a puppy pit (about 25 lbs), but it was over a year old! I don't know much about the birds and the bees, but I just wonder how that happened. I guess the pit was the momma. Thank gosh!

I REALLY hope the pit was the mom! WOW!

Wow...that's something else...mom would have to have been the pit...that little man had good aim I guess.

You're funny Stevie! HA! Good aim.

Have you seen that red bull commercial with the dachshund and the dalmation?

Hey, I am a mix of a English Mastiff and a Golden Retriever!! My DAD was the 210 pound mastiff and my mom was a (relatively) little 75 pound golden retriever. Mom felt soooo bad for my doggie mom 'cause she actually had 8 puppies, there was snow on the ground and we were all outside. The irresponsible humans that had my dog parents apparently didn't think that they would "breed". (stupid people)

NO! I haven't seen that commercial with the dalmation and the dachsund, but now I want to! I hope mom will let me...
Colton-I'm glad everyone is okay. Someone should tell those humans that unless your dog is fixed, breeding is ALWAYS possible!

Sounds like that little Wa-wa must of found him a step ladder.

I'm sure the puppy is very cute and I hope it finds a great home. Sadly I feel this is another example of an irresponsible breeder and pet store trying to make a buck at the expense of a poor, innocent, living creature. Another "designer dog" that could very likely have many health issues because of this mix.

Hey Dixie! You'll be happy to know that the pup was with its owners. It wasn't for sale at a petstore, so at least it has a good home. I agree though - another story of irresponsible (even if accidental) breeders.

Our mom is a #45 Australian Cattle Dog and our dad was an #8 Papillon. Hormones speak louder than size.

Oh good! Sorry, I took it that it was for sale at the store. Irresponsible yes, but maybe, hopefully, not part of a puppy mill or back yard breeder. Maybe just an "accident", though I am sure it's parents are very glad it happened.
