Bug Bombs- Are they safe?

Zeek on Health - Tue, October 09 2007

We got back from vacation on Sunday night. Mom's freaking out because she saw a tiny flea on her bed and later a bigger one on my head. I have had Frontline Plus on for 2 1/2 weeks. Mom wants to bomb the house and isn't sure it's safe for me. The directions say to be out for 4 hours and then air the house out for at least 30 minutes after that. Is that really long enough? Mom had a friend tell her that I needed to be out of the house for 24 HOURS! That would mean kennel overnight. Dad thinks she's over reacting, but she'd really rather nip the thing in the bud!

Mom has used them before. Daisy is right, it is a big job to do it right, but seems to be safe, if you do it right. Maybe try some of those other treatments you find. Like the powder for the carpets that you vaccum up. Just our opinion, but we have never had any luck with the Frontline products. We always use Advantage. Mom tried Frontline for awhile but we seemed to have more fleas with it than without using anything at all.
