squirrels are EVIL

Alexandria (Allie) on My Blog - Fri, May 25 2007

Why do the squirrels in my back yard taunt me? I've never done anything to them...yet they live in a tree on the other side of my (I said MY, not their) fence, and flip their tails at me and chatter at me constantly just high enough on the tree that I can't reach them. I have sat for hours (my mom would videotape it, but she said it would be too boring) upon hours under the tree, looking up at them, just waiting for one to come down and have the nerve to tell me what I've done to offend them. Really...i'm a lover, not a fighter...I just wanna play, but I don't think their inviting me to play with them when they're chattering at me! :) Does anyone actually have a squirrel for a friend? Just curious...

Squirrels at our house only come out when I'm in the house. I run to the window whenI see them out there and let dad know I want to play, but when we get out there....they run up the tree and chatter at me too! I just want to say hi and give them a good sniff. The geese don't want to say hi either. What's up with all these unsocial animals!!

SQUIRREL??? SQUIRREL?? (Butt shaking, jumping around in circles)...where is he? Huh? Let me at 'em! I have been trying to catch that squirrel for years! He's always messing with me....and sometimes he calls his friends out to laugh at me, too! Buddy - we need to team up and tell these squirrels to get off their high horses (or fences!)!

I have a squirrel...I wouldn't call him a friend, though. He does the same thing your squirrel does. Drives me NUTS!! We chase each other around the tree, over and over again, then he runs up the tree and starts yelling at me! Well...I yell back too. THEN my mom tells ME to be quiet!!!!!!! It's not fair, I tell you! The back yard is MINE. No birds, either! That's why I'm such a buff corgi, all I do is run an patrol the yard. I have a hard job.

I'm always on a leash when outside, and my mom just does not run fast enough for me to try to talk to the squirrels. By the time I get to them they are far up in the tree.

My big problem is all the ducks and geese in my pond. They always think I'm after their babies when I totally am not (much).

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is too slow to catch a squirrel. I use to never notice them, but then my dad started pointing them out to me. Now I love trying to go playing with them, but I always end up losing them. Then run to the tree and then I can't figure our where they go after that. Tricky squirrels!
