What's wrong with the dogs?

Cooter Brown on Health - Mon, October 08 2007

My pet prayer list is getting pretty long. What is wrong with all you dogs? Why is everyone so sick? Don't get me wrong-I feel very pitiful for all of you and your poor, worried parents. Trust me-I know how upset Mom was when I was having all my bladder/urinary/crystal/pee issues. We are praying for everyone to have a very speedy recovery.

I am just trying to figure out what is going on here around the city with these dogs! I sure hope Dixie or Waylon don't catch any cooties and drag them inside to me. Get well everyone and if you aren't sick stay that way! Blessing to all!

Chinese dog food, toys, ect. LOL Jk, not a joking matter. ***cough cough*** I really think it's a new season and because the airs' been so dry over in Plainfield it's making us all itchy!!!

It is the same reason humans are getting serious illnesses in record numbers. Everyone is eating processed, chemical laden foods, instead of natural wholesome foods. Odds are if you cannot pronounce some of the ingredients in your food it isnt good for you. Look at the labels. Every bag of pet food has 47 ingredients you cannot even pronounce. We do not put anything unnatural IN or ON Jesse. 50 years ago pets werent getting sick like they do today. Back then they ate a more natural diet and vets didnt fill them with toxins to just mask the symptoms. The problem is we live on microwaved food and krispy kreme donuts and we feed our pets the equivalent in kibble. We live in a society that always wants the "easy" way. Unfortunately Cooter it is only going to get worse, I think. Of course on the other hand I do hear stories from more and more of my friends about the wonderful difference a natural diet has made in their pets lives. So maybe it will change eventually. (most of my friends and all of my family have switched after seeing the health of our 4 animals)

Thanks for the concern Jesse but I am personally just fine and so are my 2 dog siblings Dixie and Waylon. In the past I had some urinary issues but mom and the vet have gotten that cleared up. Right now I am on a Royal Canin veterinary diet that seems to be managing my condition and keeping everything under control. I am just worried, concerned, puzzled as to why so many dogs are sick right now. Maybe you are right. I just hope everyone is feeling better soon.
