It's been a heckuva Monday around here. It started with dad getting up and re-setting the alarm so we didn't get to go out until later. Then mom got up and wouldn't feed us right away. She waited about an hour and kept wondering where Chase is. He's usually right there wanting breakfast. Finally after an hour, she decided to feed us but still no Chase. While we were eating, mom went to look for him and found him still in bed so she knew he was sick. I hadn't pooed yet this morning and I'm like a human man-once I eat, I gotta poo. So while mom was checking on Chase, I pooed by the entertainment center. Mom came out and cleaned that up and called dad to tell him about Chase. Then the carbon monoxide alarms started going off. That made Chase get up and start barking some and I got scared. So I peed on the bedroom floor because of all the noise. Mom was trying to talk to dad and get the alarms to shut off. Turns out my stinky poo had set it off! Apparently, it's very sensitive. So mom took us outside to potty so we could get in our crates while she cleaned up the mess. Poor Blitzen has soft poo and it got stuck in his feathery booty. Then he started shaking his whole body like after he has a bath and that sent poo flinging everywhere. We were still outside and it only got on the driveway but it was yucky. When we came in, mom had to wipe Blitzen's booty before we could get in our crates. Then she called the vet and had to take Chase all the way to Bargersville before she could even get to work. She says she's still going tonight no matter what! So that's been our crazy but not unusual morning. And she wants to add two more puppies to the mix. Someone needs to check this woman's mind out. She'll never make it to work if we have more dogs in the house!
Dayzee, I bet you can't wait to get out of that crazy place! Good grief, that is a whole lot of drama first thing in the morning! I hope things calm down a bit for y'all.
Oh NO!!!! Poor Aunt Monica! Someone is always pooping or peeing somewhere in your house. After a moring like that she may need to have her head checked out. If she wasn't crazy already she must be now!
OMG! Your poor mom! Mom gets all frazzled when things don't go well in the morning. She's already dreading work, and if things go wrong on top of that - well, mom gets all upset.
I say moms should stay home with us baby dogs and dads should go to work to buy dog food. I didn't want to get in my crate today. I knew I would miss my mom all day! I heard her say she was going to be gone tonight too. That's just not right!
Wow, your poop set off the carbon monoxide alarm? Impressive!!! I hope your mom is doing okay after a morning like that! And what's up with Chase? Is he really having a stroke like your mom said he was headed for because he's stressed about you and the puppies?
