Pet Wash

Okay... today was the day. I'm still mad about it. I thought mom was gonna take me to the park... instead we went to Pet Supply Plus to get a bath! I'm not talking to mom still even though I got treats afterwards.

Okay, here's the deal. We had posted before to see if anyone had used the Pet Wash area at the Indy Spotless Auto Wash and Pet Wash on Emerson http://www.indypetwash.com/self_service_Auto_Wash.nxg(near Beech Grove). Mom checked it out and the tub was full of hair so she decided that it wasn't worth it. That place charges $5.00 but I think you have to insert quarters, just like you do when you're washing your car. We didn't even see what shampoos they had. So we went to Pet Supply Plus on Emerson (south of St. Francis Hospital) and mom liked it a lot! I wouldn't go into the tub, so two employees had to help mom. Anyway, the tubs were clean, the shampoos were great! They have a good variety! Now I smell like vanilla and oatmeal. The only set back, there was no hose on the portable dryer, so mom just dried me with a towel. Pet Supply Plus charges $10.60 including tax.

Maverick: Do you mean that some humans take their furbabies to a car wash for a bath like you are a 1953 BUICK? That ain't right I don,t care who you are.

Oh my goodness..a car wash for doggies...that doesn't sound pleasant! I am glad your Mommy took you to PSP. Just think Mav, you should get some good lovin after a bath because you will smell all good and sweet. My Momma always loves on my a little extra after a bath!!!

Man, that is so not right. I can't believe you had to take a bath in PUBLIC. I just got a bath myself, and I got to run around the bedroom like crazy when it was over with-- I even jumped up on the bed! heehee! But then to make matters worse, mommy trimmed up my pants! Oh the price of being handsome....

No no...hahaha. the dog doesn't go through brushes like a car does. They have a special room at the car wash, it's call the pet wash, and they have a tub, a hose, hot and cold water, and I guess pet shampoos to choose from. Your mom and dad gives you the bath.

We opted to go to Pet Supplies Plus because the pet wash room at the car wash station was dirty.
