Vets that carry Royal Canin?

Haven't gotten Charlie's results on the UA yet...

But... What I want to know is (just in case he needs to go on a prescription diet), which vets around here carry the prescription RC line?

Charlie's an older guy who needs to keep his weight up, and is EXTREMELY picky. He prefers RC to Hills/Science Diet. If I mixed the two, he'd eat the RC, and leave the SD behind. I actually prefer the ingredients in RC.

Wysong (even better ingredients) also makes a urinary formula, but I don't know if he'd eat it... Finding it would be even more fun!

Getting wet food down him is usually pretty easy, as long as it's in "loaf" form, otherwise he licks the gravy off the chunks and leaves them behind.

Oh the joys of an older pet!

My vet at the Paw Patch on Lafayette and 56th carries it. I just gave Cooter's mom some info about it since that's what he eats too.

Thanks! Paw Patch is pretty close to me (I live near the EC airport). I knew a vet in Avon had it, but was hoping to find someone closer. Now to convince the vet that it's in Charlie's best interest to eat RC instead of Hill's -- which is what they carry -- if that's what he needs.

Their office just switched over from Hills a few months ago. They actually sent a letter out to their clients and mom gave it to Cooter's mom.

Our vet changed from Hills to RC about a year ago. They said it had nothing to do with the quality of food, but the customer service with the companies.

We have to eat Royal Canin Urinary SO. We get it from our vet, Nothside Animal Hospital, on Old Meridian in Carmel.
